    I've used the cheap version of this unloader from Harbor Freight ($42) and it works great! It is built a little cheaper but works well for up to a ton (2000 lbs.) of material. It hlps alot of you have a plastic bed liner instead of a sprayed in bedliner because the sprayed in ones are so abrasive. If you have a sprayed in liner, just use a cheap tarp under the unloader tarp slides easier.

    • @TheLawnShark

      That's what I ended up doing, put a cheap tarp under it and it helped with letting it slide better and cleanup was much easier as well.

    I use a strainer when pouring Humic 12 into the hose-end canister and that does help with the clogging. Speaking of Humic 12, this year I started mixing in Humic 12 (1 oz per gal) with common anti-fungal product to pour at the base of my 16 roses. Did this 3 times in 3 months and I've had the best success this year fighting rose fungus. I'm thinking it helped with the uptake of the anti-fungal liquid product, and overall nutrients as well.

    This was really great information. It explained a lot about what to use for which fungus. And, why to rotate them. But, I have something in my yard that is a bright yellow/orange color scattered through out, no particular pattern to it. I first thought it was poa dying out but it doesn't appear to be that. I am trying to identify and work on what to use.

    • @TheLawnShark

      Glad it was helpful overall. If what you have is a weed, I use an app called "PictureThis" and it does an excellent job of identifying things for me. If it's a fungus, i would put the description in Google and see what kicks out.

    Brother, you need to wear/use proper PPE when applying fungicides. Most folks don't realize how dangerous these chemicals are, but leaving skin exposed, and not wearing a mask is a very, very bad idea. I've been a lawn care provider for 10+ years now, and fungicides can actually be even more dangerous than herbicides when coming in contact with skin or being breathed in, etc.

    Much respect, been following your videos for a couple of years and you have always taken responsibility for actions that did not go the way that you hoped. Question: Do you have any advice to get rid of nut sedge in Liriope, without harming the Liriope? I also have a a large patch of Dallisgrass invading the Bermuda, open to any recommendations for it too, as I have not been able to find anything at the big box stores for Dallisgrass?

    • @TheLawnShark
      @TheLawnShark 12 дней назад

      Thanks so much for the comment and being a loyal viewer. I am not sure what would work for the lirope. I would think that the Sedgehammer may damage it. Maybe check with Domyown.com and see if they have any recommendations. As for Dallisgrass in Bermuda, you may have to hand pull it. Everything that kills it without harming the Bermuda is crazy expensive! I am at the point in the season where I am just hand-pulling any weeds I see each night. Let me know what you find out.

      You can till if you want, but it will most likely settle unevenly over time. I like putting the compost on top and let it work it's way down on it's own. The sod comes with about an inch of soil so you shouldn't need to level. Hope this helps.
